Not much news to post, but the game is not forgotten! I have been spending a lot of time recently on a “secret” project, however, whose results I’ll be discussing here hopefully within the month.

I had fun doing research on and playing with my new smartphone despite having little concern in it before. Virtual Reality is still in its infancy; its experimental and early phases never piqued my interest much, but I suspect I might experience a similar feeling of discovery if I do decide to take the dive. It’s a lot of money to spend on something I might not use much, though, and two years ago I spent $600 so I can drift away in a Laxman session which is tangentially similar to VR.

Well, I suppose it doesn’t have to be a large investment if I want to totally go the el’ cheapo route like I did with my smartphone. This is a thing:

Well, let’s blow the dust off these shelves, shall we? I feel like someone in my line of work simply “ought” to have a maintained website, even if it’s little more than a vanity shrine. I’ve yet to decide if I want to try and gear it towards a specific topic and actually garner a viewership (for example, reviewing Windows Phone apps), or if I’m content with keeping it as a musings column of some sort.

I’m turning 29 soon… the tagline of this site will need to be updated. Aaaah!
